Pune's plants build machines, structures, and equipment that do not fit a bench-top mill. A housing, a base, or a fabricated frame often needs a table measured in metres, not a few hundred millimetres. That is the work heavy CNC machining in Pune is actually for: holding a large component still, cutting it to the drawing, and sending it on with the size checked.
DHANRAJ Engineering does that work from JA-1/5 & JA-1/6, MIDC, Bhosari 411026. The centre on the floor is a SANCO SM-2000s double column machining centre from Taiwan. Published travels are 2200 mm in X, 1200 mm in Y, and 900 mm in Z. The table is 2100 × 1000 mm, with 1100 mm between the columns. The spindle is BT-50, up to 6000 RPM, on a Fanuc 18i-MB controller.
Those numbers are the practical test before a Pune job is accepted. If the component, the fixture, and the tool clearance sit inside that envelope, the part can be planned as one job: drawing study, fixture planning, programming, machining, inspection, and documented dispatch. If it does not fit, we say so against the drawing rather than forcing a setup the machine cannot support.
Heavy cutting also depends on rigidity. A double column holds the structure while the cutter is loaded, which is what keeps a long face from wandering off the tolerance written on the print. That matters for machine beds, frames, and other large faces that Pune manufacturers already design into their own products.
